Does this bag look like an 1100 lb bag? If not, any idea what it is?

I guess I'll find out the hard way.

Haha. I was watching that too. Should have bought it at the Buy-it-now price of $120...

750 is 50"L x 20"W x 20"H

1100 is 50"L x 24"W x 24"H

Not sure what the 50X22x22 is from flyhigh , that would be a 900 if they made it.

Those are the measurements I found as well. I'm wondering if he over or under measured. I'll post back when I get it.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to showing my wife what a great surf wave looks like. I'm also working on a 650 IBS as well.

When you are screwing the fittings into the Fly High bag do you put any glue on? or just screw them in with nothing on them?

Don't glue them , use Teflon tape if needed. But I have never needed it , hand tighten well and should be good to go . Factory glues them probably cuz of liability so they don't leak at all or wiggle loose in transport

What type of glue is used?

Dealer told me to use PVC cement, the two step purple primer, clear cement stuff. Problem is they never come out after. Never. Even with the heat and pop method (or at least that's what I was told)

Tape here. Never had one pop.

I wouldn't follow this advice. All you should need to do is tighten them up - no glue req'd.

I haven't pulled the trigger on the 900's or 1100's yet so I haven't had to. I got some hand me down 750's that are more than 650 but not quite enough. But I will take your advice and tape em when I do get em. For now it's 750+260 under the seats.

I got the bag(red one) I bought on ebay and can't find any serial numbers on it. I just bought an 1100# bag on the forum so I inflated them both with air and weighed them. They weigh the same so I guess the they contain the same volume/weight. I hope. Any way if anyone knows for sure let me know.

I'm also confused as to the weight of these bags. The grey one is 24x24x42 and the red one is 22x22x50 which seems to equate to 900lb bags not 1100lb bags.

Fly high 1100's are 24x24x50. Straight line sumo sac 900's are 22x22x50. Fly high and straight line 750's are 20x20x50. Any other sizes that you may have could be unlisted customs (such as the 18x18x50 moomba stock 650's). That's the best I can say as I'm fairly new to this ballast business since my old Malibu had diddily-squat for weight.

Best is to do the weight calc based on volume, or do what some have done and 1. Put it in the truck, fill it up, go weigh the truck, then drain it and weigh it again. Or 2 fill it all the way and drain it to a bucket, measure out exactly what comes out.

Those are the numbers I found as well. I guess I'll spend some time filling and weighing tonight.

Wow bucket weighing will have to wait until next week. I have to fly in the morning. Here are some more pictures. Maybe if I can meet up with BamaMojo on Friday to buy his IBS he can tell me what is what. Here are some additional photos with the stock 650 bag added to the mix.

So I confirmed the bags are 900 lbs. Unfortunately I have a starboard pump issue so I haven't been able to test things out completely, my wife and I both surf goofy. I got my IBS finished this afternoon so I'll test that out tomorrow and hopefully have everything up and running right by next weekend. Thanks to Mike, Joe and Gerald for talking/meeting with me and getting me this far. Also thanks anyone else that has responded to my posts. I have found myself driving up to other Moombas on the water and asking if they are on the forum and if not telling them to get the hell on it's great.
