Looking for a ski rack to fit my '09 Moomba OBV. Please let me know if you have one you are willing to part with.
Thanks!

Saw a cool one on ebay the other day that might work. May want to run a search.

Be careful. For my slalom ski, there's no real room in between the bindings for forks to go. my two bindings are basically butted against each other toe to heel.

So for me, that would mean that I'd need at least 60cm between the forks to have both bindings in the middle. Most of the supposed "ski" racks that were cheap on ebay were only 40cm between forks.

The one I liked was the Monster ski rack, as it had plenty of distance between the forks and it also had a quick release (like their mirror) so you could remove the rack from the clamp when you weren't using it. The downside is that it was $300. Kinda spendy.

My Skylon rack will hold the ski but with no room to spare. I did replace the O ring rubber as it gets mashed down after awhile and the ski starts touching the metal. I have seen very few ski racks on a boat. It is nice to get them off the floor where the fin can do some damage.

My ski is in a padded bag. it goes in the starboard locker (we only really surf with the port side full). The tip of my ski does go under the last cushion on that side, but my lockers flow into the underseat storage. When I add ballast to my starboard side where my ski is, I make darned sure that the ballast isn't filling past the point where the ski is able to poke into the underseat without getting smashed.

Likewise for wakeboarding that locker again isn't filled all the way so the ski can be in its bag on top of the ballast sack and poke into the underseat area w/o getting crunched. If I wanted to have someone surf goofy though, I'd have to move the ski (it'd logically go to the Port side locker then since that bag wouldn't be filled more than 1/2 way for goofy surfing).

it's not perfect, but with the bag it's well protected and as long as I didn't need to fill both rear bags fully, I'd be okay. But yeah, it'd be nice to have at least to option of putting a ski on the rack.

It is wonderful to get the skis out of the boat!!

Appreciate all the feedback. Any confirmation as to if the one on eBay will fit the cross members on my old tower? Jeff did you just order that from Roswell?

Actually got it from my dealer when I bought the boat, but I think you can get it directly from Roswell on their website.
