So it is about that time to switch out the boat. The wife and I are headed to the local Moomba dealer to look at the new models. I am not familiar with the new lineup. We will be selling/trading our 2002 Mobius LSV (with 328 hours) and upgrading. We still like to wakeboard and surf . It is usually just 6 people on the boat at a time so I don't think we need to go with the Mojo. I think we will like the Mondo or an LSV that is about 3 years old. Have you guys got any suggestions or feedback for me. The 02 LSV has been a wonderful boat, just ready for something different.

Make sure you get something with a surf gate if you are serious about surfing.

A used LSV is going to be hard to beat. New Mondo would be a great upgrade too. You might hold off to see what's coming in '16 before making your decision though.

Congrats, Jesse! Happy for you. Go test drive them and see what "feels" right. All the boats are pretty dang good.

Just put a down payment on this one, hope it all works out! It has been converted to the "Surf Edition". http://www.skiersmarine.com/default.asp?page=xInventoryDetail&id=1121604&p=1&s=Year&d=D&fr=xAllInventory

Does anybody know if the offer a tandem axle trailer with the Mondo? Also is the price negotiable or is it fixed pricing? Thanks for the help.

I've seen mondos on tandem trailers so it's definitely an option

Thanks Dan. I am going to try and get the trailer upgraded. Does anybody know the answer to fixed pricing or being negotiable? Any help would be appreciated.

Jesse, the price is always open for discussing and never fixed. From msrp 5-7% is average for a discount. But some dealers have high prep fees that might skew this some. If looking at a instock boat the trailer that it was delivered on might be the trailer you get for now. They might be able to order a tandum in. We have ours on a single as was our LSV, great fit getting into garage at an angle.

bought my 08 off the showroom on a single axle, wanted dual axle. dealer let me "borrow" the single till they ordered another boat and just ordered my trailer with it. couple months later we swapped trailers.
