Today was the day, she did it!

Today was that magic day. Two seasons ago my wife tried surfing for the first time on Newty's boat, which itself was pretty huge considering she's had a childhood fear of the water that she's had to get over. Last season she was totally out because she had ACL reconstruction surgery, but she still loves boating. We've been working at it since the weather got nice and today everything came together. Not only did she get up, but she got a good solid lineride until she was tired. From someone that thought she'd never be in the water, this is pretty huge. The picture says it all:

This is what makes it all worth it.
