well my factory mooring cover is coming apart. (11 LSV)

anyone have pics of there evolution cover on there Moomba. particularly showing the back, and around the tower etc.
basically showing how it fits and attaches.

also your thoughts on it, especially if you had a factory Moomba mooring cover before.

there website is a joke, and I don't see any pics online of them.

Thanks!
Cory

thank you!
how does it attach / tighten in the back? is it the same rachet strap on the back like the stock cover that stucks a strap all the way around the boat under the rub rail?

how does the strap pass by the tower zipper? our stock cover has a lifevest looking buckle that attaches the front strap to the back strap where the cover has to go around the tower. stock cover has velro where yours has zipper to go around tower.

Hi guys,
I have the exact same issue... My 2006 LSV mooring cover is gone and the Sharkskin enables stuff to grow in my boat I've never seen before. (As rain is typical in Belgium, so is humidity...)
Evolution has good user feedback, apart from the last pictures I saw in this thread (to small imho)

Westland offers Sunbrella covers, custom fit: anybody experience with those? Pictires anybody please? (They can have it shipped this week, and I want another one asap) or should I stick to the Evolution cover idea?

Does Evolution reinforce the wear areas? I didn't see any stitching around the windshield frame to suggest reinforcing fabric sewn into the cover.

that fitment would be unacceptable to me. especially with ours stored outdoors. how do you tighten the strap/rope that goes around/below the rub rail? stock cover uses a racheting strap that goes 360* around the boat under the rub rail.

x2 this is where ours punctured. over the ski pole. stock cover did have two layers there.

It would seem like 99% of the people on here who bought an evolution cover were super happy with the outcome, I think there must have been something a little off with the one in the thread cited above. I would give Cory a call and talk to him directly about it.

The wear areas are reinforced, at the nose, windshield, ski pilon, ect. Cover is very well made.

Evolution Covers use a rope in the lower section that wraps around the boat, at the tower point it has a clasp that you disconnect to move it around the tower.
At each of your tower feet is heavy duty plastic zipper with a bungee type wrap around for the tower poles.
At the rear is a single pull tension strap, its nylon like the tie down straps on the back. Its a cinch it up and it holds with a self tightening clip.
On the rear is has a sewn on pouch that your strap goes in, and then you have 4-5 straps that hold the rear in place, 2 on the D dings and the rest for the rear grab rail.

On the sides of the cover at J hooks, this hold the cover on the grab rail. The rope that goes around the boat is sewn in right below these, so as you tighten the cover its holds the J hooks on the rub rail that much tighter.

Inside the cover there is heavy duty insulation (padding) at the windshield point, nose, and anyplace that might scratch the boat. On the J hooks it has padding also and they are Velcro encase you want to move them up or down.

On the ski pylon its double material reinforced. As well as the Nav light on the nose.

You can pic different colors of covers now, as well as different color sew threads.

If you want close up pics or a pic of something in particular Let me know, boat sits at home so I can get you pics pretty easily.

As for the thread posted above, it has pics of the LSV cover in it, as the OP has an issue with his cover, Corey has made several attempts to resolve the issue but has not been able to make the OP happy yet. Corey will do anything you ask on the cover, logos, as well. I have several logos on my Mojo cover.

You just have to ask.

Here is added the White clips to the front to match my boat strip, then put his Evolution cover in the white section.
On the Back I have the Exile Got Tunes? and Wake Makers logo.

I don't have a pic of mine but the cover is amazing. Had it for 5 years and no holes at wear points and still sheds water great. 2 years ago I was trailering it 6 hours to a lake house...drove thru heavy rain for 4 hours and boat only had a few drops get thru at tower legs. I'd recommend this cover for any boat owners.

What was his feedback on the pictures posted earlier from the 'short' moring cover?

The OP would need to post it.

All I can say on Evolutions behalf is, they offered to fix the cover if it was shipped back to them.
