View Full Version : problems filling and emptying 2013 LSV ballast bags

new boat to me .....Is it best to fill the bags/tanks moving or sitting still ? the pump cuts off before the bags are full/empty. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you just need to increase the timers on the pumps....you can find that info in the menu on your digital cruise.

Exactly. Hold menu button then comes up select ballast using up and down arrow. Then select bag and adjust timers. Roughly 1 minute per 100lbs. Then use on/off button to exit menus.

You can fill or drain with or with out engine running. I prefer to fill with engine off because i don't want to waste more fuel and add hours to the engine. Also this is a good time to let petiole swim and cool off
