I passed an enormous boat in tow on the highway that said "Mastercraft" on it but I figured it was some clever guy that put a tower on his yacht and created some custom graphics. It had two props... I had never heard of wakeboard boat with twin engines. Well, it's real. The Mastercraft X80 at nearly 28' with an enclosed head, wet bar and refrigerator and 100 gallon fuel capacity. I'm not sure what years these were produced but there must not have been a huge market for such a huge boat. Geez!

Maybe you guys have seen these before on the lakes or at a show, but I hadn't. I'm probably the last to the party on this one.

Thats a monster, I saw that stereo thread, didn't realize it was the X80. Dang, I feel taxed after 1 day dropping 80 in fuel, would hate to see that daily fuel bill with twins.

that 300 is a yacht. billed as one and sold as one. don't think they sold many of them tho. iirc, it was in the low300's for one.
x80 never was a hot seller as it took a ton of gas and didn't have a whole lot of ballast.

The 300 came out just in time for the economy to tank.

X80 isn't really very good at anything other than party transport and drinking gas.

heard it's a decent wakeboard wave but not much else.
have seen a few surf sets with surfers on both sides but don't think the wave is that good...

Bam - there it is. Have seen a few on the river, sitting, anchored, some babe tanning, some dude pacing back and forth worried about his payments.

Have seen a few on posted on CL. For months and months and months.
