Noob question, is there a tool or easy way to remove the center plug? It seems to be in pretty tight and I can't get any leverage on it. Was hoping there's some makeshift apparatus I could use to twist the T handle.

I used a open end wrench, don't recall the size (9/16?) at the base of the plug.

go with the above for the first time and you probably won't need it after that. but, if you do, this would probably work:

This is what I use.... 15mm, with extension and a ratchet

Are you talking about the T handled drain plug? You use a wrench?

You can if needed, the base of the t handle before the threads has a square nut shape. A open end wrench (9/16?) or a crowfoot wrench like swapp posted above.

I just don't tighten it more than hand tight.

^^same
Isn't that why it has a "T" shape??

I suppose so, hopefully i won't need the wrench after I get it open for the first time. Thanks for everyone's help.
