My speedometer quit this weekend. Gauge reads 0.0. I've got the Moomba Digital Cruise. I crawled under the boat while it was on the lift and the paddle wheel is clear and spins freely. Any suggestions to try before I load it up and take it to the dealer?

Unplug the electrical connection, use some contact cleaner and then dielectric grease. Zip tie it out of the bilge water.

There was a service bulletin for some 2014 models around May of last year. Mine was affected. There have been a few reports of the same symptoms for some 2015 boats. I would give the dealer a call.

^ This. My buddy had a problem with his speedo on his 2015 Mojo

They replaced it once last year right after we got the boat. Had maybe 3 hrs on the meter. I was hoping that maybe there was something else going on that wouldn't require me towing the boat to the dealer.

Same happened to me...I have a '14 Mobius. Took it in and they replaced it per the service bulletin...All is good. Take it in and make sure to tell them about the bulletin...some dealers are clueless to that stuff unless they are certified Moomba and even then this stuff gets missed.

Contacted the dealer. They are supposed to be checking into it and see what they did last year to repair. I think they took one off of another boat on the lot to fix it. So, it's likely I could have the same issue again.

Just a thought, I've been trying to find an issue with the stereo and have been moving some of the wiring under the helm. Is it possible that I pulled something loose? Everything else seems to work on the digital cruise, just no speed. Is it one connection to the digital cruise for everything or is there a separate connection for the speedo?

I posted the service bulletin in the link provided below. It's on page two of this forum topic.

It happened on my 2014 Mondo. Dealer replaced it under warranty.

Is this something that a regular joe can fix? Same thing just happened to my '13 Mojo this weekend and I'm nowhere near a dealer.

I ended up taking mine back to the dealer. I don't know if it's something you can fix yourself.

Swapped my speedo out this week. It was a piece of cake and fixed my issues. I believe my old one may have burned out during the 600 mile delivery. SC rep mentioned the paddle wheels are water lubricated.

I have a 13 lsv and my mechanical speedometer and the digital speedometer quit working. It was working fine last time out, installed a subwoofer under the dash in the removable section and took the boat out and the speedo's don't work. Couldn't find any wires I may have messed up. Any suggestions?

You think you may have bumped/jiggled the tach wires during install? I thought the SC rep mentioned the harness for the speed runs through there when I was having issues.

evreything else works except the two speedo's. you would think that it would cause an issue with the other gauges....ideas?
