My guide pole pads have seen better days. I had to duct tape one of them to keep the hemorrhaging pad from coming out the ripped nylon.

Be careful with the black pads and white moomba lettering. That white lettering turned my rub rail all white and I can't seem to get it off. Looks terrible.

I bought the black set from eBay $49 and put them on at the beginning of May and they are already started to fade.

I've always had good luck hitting up the local dealer. Most have the dealer name on them, so they are willing to give them for free. At least that's been my experience. I've obtained 3 sets that way so far.

Aws has Ronix guide pads for $30, they actually looked to be slightly better quality than the AWS brand. So I was like what the hell, guess I'm reppin Ronix now. Been reppin AWS pads for close to 20 years, they said no we'll match the price take your pick. I had to buy new ones this year. Should have done it before the wife put a $1200 pin stripe on my boat. Oh well.

Thanks. Might have to take a look. I've actually wondered why more brands don't make guide pads. Seems like it'd be a natural idea for Exile or Wetsounds to start offering them.

Yeah, I just got new ones from my deal ship at no cost.

Rookie question - Does my 2014 Boatmate trailer for my LSV take the 36" or 48" pads?

Rookie question - Does my 2014 Boatmate trailer for my LSV take the 36" or 48" pads?

Here are my 36" pads on my XLV:

And here's some 48" pads on my Supra:

Most of the time the 36" pads are plenty. Occasionally you will see a deep hull and/or a deep water ramp where you might strike the guide pole with the boat if you don't have more than that. Measure the ones you have (if they have been working OK for you when you load). If they have been good then just get the same ones.

Cool, thanks.... For whatever reason, my trailer didn't come with pads when I bought the boat new last year so I've just got the plastic sleeve over the metal poles. So far, neither the wife nor I have had any problems dinging the boat loading/unloading from the trailer, but I figure better be safe than sorry and grab a set of pads (especially since I am teaching my 3 sons to handle the boat more....).

Here's my set up, but I think I'll be buying pads this weekend so I don't push my luck too far!

Thanks all. I ran into the Supra/Moomba head sales guy at the launch this weekend. I talked to him and it sounds like freebies aren't gonna happen. LOL.

I went with the Ronix ones. Got them from Evo for $35 and will pick up at the Portland store for free shipping/no tax.
