I bought this boat from auction and the previous owner had 2 johnson rubber impellers sitting in the storage under the seat. Where are these located on the boat? I need to check if these are spares or he removed them maybe to winterize the boat??? Are they for the ballast pump or engine water pump? Im new to these v drives wakeboard boat!
This boat only has 80hours on it and its clean as can be! I lucked out. Any other pointers?!

Post a pic of the impellers. Since your boat is an 08 it should have aerator ballast pumps (no impellers.) So my guess is they are for the water pump plus a spare.

Nice looking boat!

Nice looking boat. If the impeller was removed for winterization, that's good! Hopefully the boat was well maintained. If you remove the impeller every year and store it in a baggie of oil, it will probably last forever! Most people just leave them in all winter and they will eventually dry out and have to be replaced about every other season.

Looks like the pump cover plate and gasket is in there too. Good luck with the new ride!

Did you find 4 brass screws? They hold the cover plate on

Im just hoping they are loosely screwed into the housing and havent fallen off. I'll check when I get home!

I got my boat from a broker as well. I didn't feel comfortable with not knowing when or if the impeller was ever changed, so bought and installed a new one right away. Bakes online has both impeller and the brass screws if you need them. I also put the boat in the shop to change the oil, trans fluid, filters abs align the V Drive shaft. It was well worth the money.

I'm def missing some lines here. Also the bolts but my buddy has some. Anyone know what lines and where these go?!

For some odd reason some of my posts aren't waiting approval by moderator. But I seem to be missing the two hoses that come right off the impeller pump and have no clue where they go? Ive looked and looked and can't find the other ends. But I am missing those hoses which might put me out for this weekend :(

Also found a really thickkkk 1"(?) hose coming from the front all the way to the back running along the oil pan and I can't find out where that goes as well. Might have to take it to my buddy!

Edit: sounds like you should take it to someone to have it looked over before you hit the water. At least test it on a fake-a-lake before dropping in the lake.

That one should be coming from the v drive cooler and hooks up to the lower impeller fitting. Then a hose from the upper impeller fitting goes to the tranny cooler and up to the tstat housing. Looks like its in that pic with the ribbed plastic protector covering it

Ok Found out where they go. I was looking for a brass fitting to go right into the impeller pump but it just clamps right to it over top.

Now All I need is the 2 block drain plugs and the 4 brass screws for the impeller pump. Does anyone know what size I need? I have a hose and fitting place right beside my work so I think I can get them there and save the drive.

Thanks...Colin

Sounds like it was winterized. Look in the glove box, cup holders, etc. for a plastic bag with the parts. Might get lucky.

Had my buddy look at it and it is ready to go now. The impeller pump confused me with the threaded fittings. Then I found out thise cooler lines go right over the threaded part and clamp on...!duh I should've put 2 and 2 together. All ready for tomorrow! Very excited to test it out!
