Check your gauge wiring.

I have an 08 LSV for reference.

Was a little shocked when my Temp gauge disappeared behind the dash. Found that the chrome bezel broke off from the gauge. Come to find out the entire dash wiring harness is only supported by the dash gauges. My fuel gauge is about to snap off as well. I added zip tie holders and secured the wiring harness to prevent any gauges from snapping off

I had my temp gauge do the same thing. I found that the holes in my dash are cut bigger than they really needed to so it's not an optimal fit. Frustrating for sure.
