Thought I'd give a new brand of bindings a try this year so went with some Humanoid Howls from blemboard.com. Just got them and they fit and look awesome.http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05/04/109bb5c65cd6e0dc1f73708b347e66e8.jpg

So why not get a new board too... Slingshot Recoil again, because why mess with what works. http://images.evo.com/imgp/1500/87762/385427/clone.jpg

Those look great, but the skull & bones with the warning kinda makes me like surfing more.

you can drown surfing too. in fact if surf boards do not come with the same warning than they are being dishonest

Nice setup. I ordered last year's recoil a couple days ago. Glad to hear you like it enough to buy it again.

We picked up the Ronix air core atr it is a real light board with camber http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05/05/3bf840bdc3c03004053c341e0f386fdf.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05/05/2a870b906283ff787cde2982dd6bab40.jpg

I like the Ronix boards and rode 2 different One boards early on. Make sure you post up your experience with camber and how it compares to a traditional shape. Once I tried a flex board I knew I wouldn't be going back.

I don't like any of the sports that DON'T come with that warning. Everything else bores me to death.

I went with a 2014 Slingshot Oli with the 2014 RAD bindings. I'm pretty happy. Of course I was coming from an 8 year old Hyperlite Belmont DNA with CWB hinge bindings, so this is a huge improvement. Since slingshot is local, I know some people that got me a sweet deal.

You slingshot buyers love catching edges hu. U have a 2012 Hooke that has a ton of pop but its super easy to catch an edge. I have rolled my eyelids back many times on that board. Mostly I ride a simple Ronix One Modelo now. Got it cheap from evo a few years ago and its been perfect for pop and forgiving on the edges. I'm also interested in the Camber, they look pretty cool

It's all in what you get used to riding I'm sure, but I have no problem with catching edges on a Slingshot. With no base features and small fins it's the most forgiving board I've ever ridden. How much for the Hooke? :)

I loved the Hooke I had ... For the two sets it lasted before snapping in half.

I'm calling it a fluke and going back to slingshot. Just came in, here it is next to my Surfest pick up ...
