Sun Deck Panel Shot

I am having the interior of my 08 LSV redone and after pulling the Sun Deck apart the panel is shot. Anyone else have this issue.21954

What year is your boat? That is not what my panels look like.

What year is your boat? That is not what my panels look like.
At first, I didn't think so either but after studying it, I think they may be the same. The panels have a thin black fabric stapled to the bottom. So if that were in place, I think it would look the same. I thought that those panels were made from the same black HDPE as the engine divider panels but I guess I don't actually have any solid knowledge of that.

Mine is a 2008. I have always had problems with wet lockers and moisture from the bilge. I boat 90% in brackish water so the aluminum panels have just corroded and fell apart. I have made new panels out of expanded PVC.

Think it has more to do that the nuts and screws are stainless while the platform is aluminum, galavanic corrosion..I have the same issue, had to replace the stainless..
