I have been posting build pictures in a different thread that would be hard for someone to find if they were looking for stereo ideas. So I decided to post here and share my new baby's build.

Build is almost complete, just waiting on backordered rgb's for the Cabin Speakers and cup holders. There is still be a number of small edits to the system. Including: Hiding the subs wiring, a cover plate that will hang over the amps and hide the wiring, and there is a panel that will cover the batteries with a plexi window. I didn't bother taking a picture of the cabins yet, I will once the less are installed.

Looks good. You might look into getting some lead ot steel shot to balance the boat. Other wise you will always be trying to make it level.

I know In mine after the stereo and Golf Cart batteries were installed I had a lean to Port and had to balance it with shot on the starboard. The bow would litterally lean port in the water at idle.

Looks absolutely beautiful! Quick question, how big is that sub box? Reason I'm asking is because it looks like you lost A LOT of leg room. I thought I was going to have the same situation but the installer moved the back panel and gained over a foot of space. I only lost like an inch of leg room lol. I was really worried I was gonna have no leg room.

Mike,
Do you have the steel shot in a waterproof bag of some sort so they don't rust?

Yes they are in slealed pastic heavy duty bags, then in bags with handles to make it easy to move them.

This is who I use, I refered Jester and he uses them as well

This is another company

Thanks Mike. Sorry for the hijack - Gettin it back on track with the build thread!
I'm surprised you still had room for a board in the cubby.

We had a different box designed for more leg room, but there wasn't a big enough window. I lost a lot of leg room, but then again I don't care at all. I am 6', but it does't bother me.

As far as sitting level in the water, I haven't gotten to put it in yet. I was really hoping to today, but the weather didn't cooperate.

Wires will go down instead and then hide in the edges back to the top. Thanks for the praise!

Mike,
Tried to PM you but your inbox is full:
Do you keep all the lead in your boat when you tow?
I got my POP products bags and going to sack it out but concerned about adding another 700lbs of weight permanently back there while towing everywhere. But also don't want to be pulling them out/in consistantly. Gonna take an 800mi round trip and concerned with all the other gear I throw in the boat already.
Thanks

Yup I can't see sh*t! Also I went to the local tire shop and for a case of beer got 300 lbs of lead. I then bought http://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-12-in-Tool-Bag-82004N11/203224030 I'm in them for under $50 for 300 lbs

Smart thinking [emoji1305] I might try that. Did you talk to one of the workers or manager or?

It is a tire shop we do a business with so I just asked the service writer when we needed a new set of tires.
