Skiing Yet???

As the weather starts to warm up for you folks in the north areas I'm wondering who's on the water now?
Even my old stomping grounds in Canada has guys out on the water already in some places.

Who is on the water, where are you skiing, and what stick are you riding?

I have been skiing for a few weeks now. Attended an HO Clinic at Buoy Creek, SC to try some new skis. I am on the '12 S2 and really wasn't looking to upgrade. But after skiing on the Superlight TX I pulled the trigger. Just as fast and responsive as the S series.

Heading to April Coble's place with the family in May to fine tune it before the season starts.

I've had my boat on the water since 3/21. Went out a couple time before that on other people's boats.

My first ski was about a couple weeks ago.

I ride the Radar Theory that I got last year. it'll take a long time for me to outgrow this one as I'm just a recreational skier.

55 degree water in Central NY, and a 7mm suit. I'm in the water

Boy - I don't know how you can ski in a 7mm.
We are in West Central Wisconsin near the Minnesota border. My crew was in on April 1. They used a pontoon to break up the remaining ice and push it into a corner. Then skied. It had to be under 40 water temp. I think they dropped in the course a couple days later. Schedules prevented me from joining them until this last Saturday. A little rusty - not enough time in the gym this winter - will definitely slow down progress this year. But hope to get some significant time in the course before heading down for training in June. Skiing on an A2.

We put in April 1st, lake lure nc. Water was 55 degrees, one run each in 3mm suits, then hot tub! Im hoping for close to 70 degree water Thursday...
