Saw a recent post from AWS who is using Gatorstep out of Canby, OR for some of the swim platform pads. I have the dreaded black pad on my 2010 that has been known to track dark footprints across the seats in the boat. We have been looking to upgrade the pad and now I am wondering if there are any recommendations on SeaDeck or Gatorstep...

That stuff looks great. Limited colors. Might look at hydroturf too.

Based on the majority of the experiences folks here have had with Seadek recently, I'd go with the Gatorstep so you may actually get it before your 3 wks of summer up there are gone.

Take a look at:
Agendasurf
Universal Board sheet (soft) make template from old covering before you remove it and make your own.
I purchased the 47" x 86" sheet (long cut diamond pattern)
Purchased 14 - 15 months ago at $120
Cleaned up well at end of season with Totally Awesome Cleaner (50 / 50 mix)

Here's a thread on the issue for reference:

My experience with Agenda Surf was EXCELLENT. I just bought a few strips of Hydoturf from them for some step pads and they were great to work with. I had an old link to what I wanted but the website no longer had what I wanted so I called the contact # and the owner called me right back and found what I wanted, fixed the link, and gave me a great discount for bringing it to his attention. If they have what you want they are great to work with.

I went with Seadek last year, great product but horrible to deal with and they take forever. It took about 4 months to finally get mine. I got nothing but the run around from Paige at Seadek and i finally let her have it and demanded to speak with her boss. I also ended up having issue with my Seadek pad and the "Moomba" logo coming up. I went round and round with them and finally admitted they had issues with the logos lifting because of the way they router the logos. Great product if you tolerate the BS and long lead time.

We have the gator step on our Mojo, it is softer then you think on the knees when getting in and out of the boat. Also its holding up really well to Oso and his claws from swimming. Much better wear then our Sea Deck on the LSV did.

Thanks for the feedback! Greatly appreciated. I knew lots were frustrated with SeaDeck. It's good to have some options.

Has anyone used these products on your trailer? My fenders need the no skid replaced and was thinking something other than what came stock on the Boat Mate trailer.

Hydroturf B Stock is perfect for that - and inexpensive.

I had fender pads made from Seadek when they made my pad for my swim platform. You pay for material weather you use it or not. So I would think you will pay fortune for just fender pads if they don't already have pre cut pads for sale

I'm on year 4, maybe 5 now of hydro on the trailer steps. I think it's proven itself. Going to do the fenders before summer hits.

I personally would go with the hydro on my trailer if I were to do it again.

Was it tempting to run the pad the full width of the fender - step to step?

Toying with doing that.

I had just enough left over to just that. I made the center one longer and wider..

Getting ready to order some Hydro B stock and it says an extra $30.00 for 3M adhesive. I have never used this product does it not self stick or does the 3M just work better, thanks for the help.

It doesn't stick it self, you need either the PSA or contact cement.

Get some Coke a cola, steel wool and polish those rims up.

Amazon just delivered white spray paint, the rust is probably keeping the rim on..

I think it's the main reason I got this 06 for so cheap, it was a featured pic in the ad.

Give it the Coke treatment then finish with aluminum foil treatment. Will look like new.
