They have just started the shipping the marine version, but the non marine was released last season. Question? I can get Phil over here if needed.

Just wondering how it performs. I already decided on my system w/ 4 10s but am already thinking of my next boat haha

A buddy of mine has been running the KX1200.1 driving an L7 in his Tige RZ2 since shortly after the new KX line was released. Hes more than pleased with it.

Is it basically the same amp just not marine rated?

Brett-

The simple answer is: Yup. :)

We do a few things different with the KXM line to improve the amps for use in a marine environment. Sealed inputs and connections, a gasket-sealed door over the controls, conformal coating on the circuit boards, stainless hardware, ABYC-complaint power terminals.... These are a handful of differences, but from an electrical circuit standpoint, the KXM1200.1 is functionaly identical to the automotive KX1200.1
