I got two prices today...
$600 & $180
Seems like a big gap there.

What is everyone else paying in your area?

It's basically a glorified oil change & they check everything on the motor etc.

They also change the vdrive and tranny fluid. Or should!!! And check the tranny filter. But I have yet to see that. They will say the filter is fine which I'm sure it is 95% of the time. But do you want to be the 5%

Seems a bit high but there is some time involved even with the right equipment. Three fluids to change, filter, etc. Really should be pulling magnetic drain plugs on the v-drive and remove debris as well. With the time involved, fluids and such... It can add up. You could do it yourself for $75 or less depending on what fluids and filter you buy. I use Mobil 1 15W50 in the engine, Royal purple ATF in the transmission and Royal Purple SAE 30 in the v-drive. If you do it yourself you'll also have things on hand for top offs and your annual services...

With the new Raptor Engine here is the break down

Change Engine oil and filter (7 to 8qts) 5w-30 pn 871003 avg $10 to $12 per qt for indmar filter is $12
Change Indmar V-Drive oil Mobil Delvac Syn Trans fluid 50w
Change Trans fluid syn atf

Most shops will charge 1.5hrs and parts. Ours comes out to $259.00 parts and labor for all indmar fluids and filters.

3) Change V-drive fluid
4) Inspect belt
5) Check shaft alignment

Good luck.

ask them what the reading was on the alignment......if they say it was fine , ask them what the reading was , if they checked it they would know and they should have recorded it as you paid for them to do it.

Seems like a lot of $ for "inspection"

I'm with Doc. I don't use dealers for much service work anymore and there's a reason for that.

If they can not just ask them to remove the charge.
