Was planning on doing the chain this coming Saturday, but other friends are not available till after 12 and thats to late to get started driving up that way

yea, that wouldn't give you much daylight left - you probably wouldn't get in the water until about 2.

That's a long trip for only about 4 hours boating.

Let me know if you make it up some Saturday - that's usually when T and I are out - we can zoom by and say howdy.

Ice just went out this week here in Iowa, boat out of storage for some misc. repair and season prep... Will probably be a few weeks before all the docks are in and we're on the water.

Still frozen in Southwest Michigan. Not to mention, it snowed most of the day yesterday, and it's not supposed to get above freezing on Friday.

went out yesterday for the first time this year. PP said the water was 47, it felt much colder.

Wow. 59 on Norman is good! I was out for the first time on Tillery yesterday and it was 48! In fact my crew from State that was supposed to come this weekend backed out!
