I finally decided it was time for an audio upgrade. I worked with Brian at Exile and I can tell you all that he was great to work with. He is a professional and I highly recommend anyone looking to upgrade/ replace Audio equipment give these guys a call. Will post pics on makeover when done
3 pair sx65-m powered by 800.4, 1 12"sub with 12.1 powering it, 1 pair xm9's powered by Harpoon. All equipment shipped and should hit next week.

Congrats on the new stereo upgrade.
I'm in the process of doing the same. Just waiting for it to be delivered. 2 pairs of xm9's, a pair of sx65m and a xm30.2. Should have ordered another set of the sx65m. Soon enough. Hate having things that don't match. Can't wait to get this hooked up.

Thanks for the contact info guys. I currently have four XM9s on the tower and the exile sub. all exile amps. I will say that they sound amazing and LOUD! I figured it couldn't hurt to add two more XM9s on the tower and new exile cabin speakers..lol. Needless to say I am a loyal exile customer and fan. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your new set up. Congrats you will love them!

Don't you have the Supra 21v with the exiles on the front bar? I think going from 4 to 6 is going to force you to move speaker location to the rear bar? Just an FYI

KG's Supra24- If I remember correctly, don't you have 6 mounted up on your tower? Im pretty sure it was your boat that I saw that inspired me to mount two more. I saw how you have four mounted on the rear bar and the two outside mounted on the front bar.

Not to steal Bama's thread, but its really quite easy Joe -- I was a bit worried myself painting the grills on my XM7s, but clean them up good and spray them and they look great!! And if that doesn't work, you can always buy the black replacement grills from Exile directly... :)

Plasti Dip them, that way if you don't like it you peel it off. If you do Like them then keep it or peel it and paint them again.

They do have the 8s but they don't fit in the Moomba's. They are designed for the Malibus and a couple other boat companies that use the 8 cabins.

They are legit though.

I unfortunately will not be upgrading to these due to the way my speakers mount in the Mojo. I don't want to cut the insides of my boat up for these. I might test fit and see how much cutting it will take but from what I recall last time I saw them and looked at my boat, they simply don't fit without major hack work.

Sounds like a nice custom fab job is do. I have seen several super nice custom installs of the WS 8 inch. The do make a huge diff over the 6.5

I was talking to Brian for a few hours last night about new stuff coming out.

I plan to get a pair of 8s and see what all is involved, if I can upgrade without changing anything but the cut outs I will. Otherwise I wont.
