Sony head unit help

Need help! For some reason my Sony head unit in my 2014 Mundo is stuck in demo mode. It turns on meaning it's getting power but doesn't actually turn on. It just scrolls through its features. I tried the select button thing to turn demo mode off, but nothing happens. Anyone else have this issue?

Behind the face plate there is a small reset button hold in for 10 seconds and then try reset the stereo, hope this helps.

Here's what my manual says....

- press and hold select button until setup display appears
- press the select button repeatedly until "demo" appears
- rotate the control dial to select "demo-off"
- press and hold the select button to return to normal display

I tried both of those suggestions and nothing....I can hear the unit do its thing after the reset button, but nothing changes. I've held the select button for a very long time and nothing. It just scrolls through its features.

Got it....disconnected the power harness in the back for a few then I was able to do the select button thing and turn off demo made. Weird that it would put itself in that mode. Anyway thanks for the responses.
