Digital Cruise Pro on Ebay

Found this digital cruise pro on ebay for 90$. Just thought I put it out there

I swapped my Moomba Cruise for this exact part and it works perfectly. Simple plug and play install. This unit does not display the ballast % levels.

So you did not need to purchase any other parts since you already had the basic Moomba cruise. Just swapped out the to this part?

Indeed. Unplugged and removed Moomba Cruise, installed and plugged in this unit. Everything worked including the water temp feature.

Moomba Cruise and Digital Cruise use different connectors but both connectors were in place on my wiring harness from the factory. One plug gets left unused.

Do you have the boat near you or in storage? Peak under the helm to see if you can spot the connector. I believe it will work just fine for you. The seller does except returns. Not sure if a restocking fee applies but you won't be out completely if for some chance it does not work.

Unfortunately the boat is in storage... We just got 2-3" of snow today so it will be awhile before I get her out lol... I did see that they accepted returns... I hope I wont have to do that!

When I said not adding up, I meant being able to upgrade to digital cruise for under $100. But if yo7 guys vouch for the system working, I'm in for 1. I can't imagine anyone that has the standard cruise who wouldn't be.

Here is a pic of the removed Moomba Cruise. Having the New Moomba Cruise VS that one on my Mojo I can believe that all you do is swap that box.

The Old Moomba Cruise was strictly RPM based <the one Boonejeeping Pictured above.>

The newer Paddelwheel is the 1st Level Upgrade to those year boats. You swapped to the Paddle Wheel control which also has a built in Temp Sensor.

The 2nd level upgrade would be GPS model and it had a different control module which allowed you to also save settings for different riders.

Not positive, even the GPS is an entire different gauge. I want to say in 08 is when the LSV got a new dash layout.

The new digital gauge from ebay will fit perfectly in the dash in my 2008. I just hope there is another plug and wiring harness that fits it under the helm. I guess I will find out come spring!

Bad News...

I got my digital cruise in about a week ago but finally had time to get to the boat this morn...

history:

I have an '08 Mobius LSV with the stock moomba cruise on it. I saw this thread and couldn't resist the upgrade so i went to the boat looked under there and saw an empty plug unused and thought this was perfect..

here is what I saw: the plug in my hand is the moomba cruise plug and the one to the right is the extra.

I think there is a separate plug/wire harness under the helm that fits the digital unit. .. I am hoping so bc I have an 08 LSV as well and bought the digital cruise on ebay like you did. ..

I am really bummed if the correct plug is not there. Hopefully it is hiding somewhere in there. I have a 2010 so a difference is possible.
