Okay, so I've been thinking about adding a single Johnson reversible pump to my boat to function as a "auxillary" pump. It'd be something that would fill up misc bags that I might place on the seat, floor, etc. . It would also function as a pump that I could flip on and suck water out of any areas like the front locker that collected water. It would also have an adapter to put a spray nozzle on it to hose out anything that might need it. Or could also be used with a hose nozzle for potential water fights against the kids or other boats!
Similar to the idea of the "super sac'r" but I'm not a fan of the stupid fly high connections any more than necessary.
I've thought about the pump in a locker with a length of hose on it. Maybe a little ball valve on the end to help avoid messy overflow when the pump's off and I disconnect it from whatever.
So I'm thinking hose nozzle.

Maybe a shutoff valve near the end of the hose length to keep messes to a minimum:

Certainly I could make use of actual hose quick connects rather than the unreliable fly high connections:

Of course I'd need the ability to have a fly high connection, but maybe I could have that on the end of a quick connect?

So, give me your thoughts about how you'd suggest plumbing this. If I did a fixed length of hose with the ability to swap out attachments, I'd want to make sure that the hose was accessible from somewhere that wouldn't ultimately need a bag put on top of it. It'd be pretty silly to have the setup under the rear corner seat and then want to put a bag on top of that seat cushion, blocking the access to the hose!
