So, I have the 1180 gravity games bag. And I'm also upgrading my ballast system.

The gravity bag has 3 ports. One end has a port on the bottom rear and another port on the top rear.

The other end has a port that's at the front, and could be oriented to be at either the bottom or top.

So, my inclination would be to have the bag setup as follows:

Lower stern port = drain
Upper Stern Port = Fill
Upper bow port = Vent

Another option might be as follows, but it would needlessly lengthen the fill hose length and add head pressure:

Lower stern port = drain
Upper or lower bow port = fill
upper stern port = vent

Any thoughts on this?

I would think the vent line at the highest point (upper bow port) will offer the best results,

I made my plumbing with a reversible pump and used only the lower stern port. I used the upper port and "
crossed" the vent lines, the starboard side ventilation thru the port side hull and vice versa. This way the water will stay in the ballast when the boat is tilted

Agree with Boonejeepin. Upper bow port vent.

I agree vent from the bow .

CHECK! the venting will most certainly be from the bow. Just wanted to bounce it off ya'all in case there was something I hadn't thought of.
