Hi, I'm new to Moombas and boats in general. I've been a Sea Doo 96XP guy for 20 years and at 50 have realized it's time for a boat and teaching the kids how to wkaeboard/surf.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out if the following boat is a good deal for $53,895, out the door, tax, title, tag, full tank of gas, etc.... I'm in no hurry so I can wait if this isn't a pretty good deal. Thanks in advance.

I'm also interested in this boat but haven't seen it yet.

With the prices of wakeboats rising so fast I would recommend you snag that LSV before someone sees this post.

I think that was a deal because I'm half Puerto Rican, but who knows. As I said I'm in no hurry but I am going to test drive that boat tomorrow AM.

Says sale pending. Is that a good thing or bad thing?

I hope that is a good thing. They seemed like real good people so I suspect it is. We will see and I will post back. I say I can wait but I WANT A MOOMBA.

Are you saying that's a good deal as well?

depending on what you want to do and how large your crew is, I'd take the xlv over the lsv if you can swing the garage space. but that's coming from a guy that is lucky to strap a wakeboard on once a year. we are surf 95% of the time.

So the surf on the xlv is better?

No not exactly, I have owned the LSV and I have surfed the LSV and I prefer the LSV. They don't make the XLV any longer.

He was speaking in terms of how large your family is vs how large the boat is. Coming from Sea Do though I'm sure the LSV is much larger interior wise.

Sorry to not be clear. The Sea Doos I had were PWCs, Jetskis (kawasaki "generic" term), so yeah I'm looking for a lot more room. I expect I'd normally have 5 - 7 people on the boat.

5 peeps and the LSV will be great, 7 and you will want to throw some in the bow.

Anyone with any more input, I'd appreciate it. I'm heading down to the lake to do a test drive. The guy said he could throw in 5 year bow to stern warranty if I buy this weekend.

Also a 2010 Supra Worlds Edition with 254 hours for $45,000 has been added to the mix.

Yes, that is a good deal on the LSV. There is no better time to buy a new boat than now. The boat show incentives are only available for a short period of time. Get them to throw in free 20 hr service and sign the papers.

5 year warranty would help seal the deal if you like the water test. as wolfe mentioned, 20hr service and free winterization next fall if you need it and sign.

I have a 2013 LSV and love it... The wake for surfing is great, loves nose weight... We have roughly 8 people on the boat during the summer, it is a little snug but hey more the merrier. I would not change what I bought for another Moomba or another brand! It does what we want and fits in my shop.

Like Kriley, we love our 2012 LSV. Normal crew is 5, at 10 it gets tight but it works.

I'm from Gardendale, AL, just north of Birmingham. Just got back from the test drive and WOW. I'm sold, surf wake was incredible. My wife not sold so much yet, but I'm working on her.

The deal didn't include taxes, so we're looking at just shy of $55,000 including the 5 year warranty, and the Flow Surf. I'll ask about the 20 hour service and winterization when I talk to the guy later today.

Wife is still not convinced, but I'm putting some money down today to lock in the incentives. Also inquiring about getting the Wet Sound Rev 8 tower speakers installed and rolled into the price.

That wake was so pretty I may even try it come summer time.

You sir, are living on the edge.

You sir, are living on the edge.

Not really. Most dealers should offer a 100% refundable deposit during boat show season that let's you lock in your incentives and take the boat for a demo.

That's right. The deposit is refundable. I'm hoping I can work on her for a few more days as I work out the financing. I'm pretty certain I can bring her to the dark side.

I'm working with Kit Barnes. I visited the store up near Huntsville and met the mechanics and they seem OK. Did you have issues in Birmingham or Huntsville.

Still working on my wife, she's on the ropes though.

You will love the boat, I can't tell you how much I enjoy my Moomba. The only issue I have had was at the Westover Location. Rhett has contacted me to help resolve my previous issue. Good Luck and welcome to the Moomba family!
