Rumor has it the LSV is going away. Does anyone have any more info they can share?

Has to happen someday. But, it's been the best selling boat in its class across all manufacturers for a while. Not sure what the last couple years' numbers look like though. I'd buy another one. Only reason I haven't is the first one is still so dang good.

I agree with you on that one

From what I can tell, the Mondo has cut into the lsv market. I would think the Mondo is the replacement will do to the lsv what the mojo did to xlv.

I could be wrong.

There would need to be something in between the Mondo (20') and Mojo (23') so it makes sense to consider an LSV replacement next. But it's hard to mess with success, like Kane said.

That LSV is probably the best looking boat Moomba has. IMHO

Be a damn shame to kill it off.

But...as someone said... this IS just a rumor.

I was told at the Cincy boat show that they would be discontinuing the OBV.

Well, that one makes no sense. Unless they are scrapping them both for a new 'tweener cross over boat. Now, that would not surprise me.

I wouldn't be surprised if they kept the OBV 20', lengthened the Mondo to 21', and lengthened the LSV to 22' by flatening the back like the Mojo and Mondo.

The xlv was planned phased out before mojo hit the market, mojo really didn't take off until 2013 , xlv was last sold in 2012. Funny the Mojo is now 23 ft, xlv 23 feet

the lsv is a very old hull in the overall wakeboat scheme. it was "redesigned" but lets call that really more of adding 6" to the top deck. that puts the lsv hull(running surface) at somewhere near the 9 year old mark. bet that's gotta be one of the oldest hulls on the market still being produced.
we all know that Moomba needs a boat between the 20 and 23ft segment so it's not going away. having 2 successful similar hull designs, do the math. not hard to either add to the mondo or subtract from the mojo and voila- new lsv.

bet it's out before July ;)

.

Respectfully I have to disagree.

Having owned an LSV and now the Mojo I think the Mojo is a better looking boat.

The 12 Mojo with the white Nose was not my favorite and the 14 with the deep steps in the nose is not my favorite but the 13 with the Smooth nose, no sea deck pads on it and color matched to the boat is dam sexy lol.

But I will always have a soft spot for the LSV as this was my first Wake Boat and the first you will always remember.

I was thinking more like "MOFO" as it'll surf like it's namesake :)

So, what about something similar to the Supra SC? It's 21'8".

"Respectfully I have to disagree.

Dat's what's all about Mike. If we all liked the same boat - there would only be one boat!

I heard they were going to update the LSV to better compete with the T22.

Maybe the Rondo. It's got electrolytes. (Movie reference)

I always thought "Tsunami" surf boats would catch an eye.

centurion already had that line. ironically it was more of a cigarette boat with a makeshift add-on tower, not a wakeboat.
