For your buoy balls? Dock? Tieing up etc.?

I just bought 6 buoy balls from the Group Buy but not sure which rope works the best or what length?

Thanks!

Just got some of these late last summer and got to use them on a couple trips. Absolutely loved them for docking, tie ups, etc.

Good color matching options too.

Haha I was literally just looking at those & switched back to the forum and saw your post & it took me to the same page I was already on haha. How many did you get?

Just two for the cleats. Usually end up using another rope for a tie off to keep the nose away from the dock if needed since the bungees will allow a little movement depending on how you're tied. Boat-to-boat they're great though since cleats don't always line up. The stretch/bungee is nice.

These are one of the best purchases on my boat:

They adjust to different lengths needed and with slide of sleeve tighten up on the ends. Love em!!

How much tension do those have? Advertised stretch of 4-8' makes me wonder.

Picturing the boat pulling away then come slingshotting back into the dock.
(Ok not really but you get the idea.)

You think it's more tension than your mom has before she gets the 4-8' stretch? :o

I use standard issue rope with a loop on one end. Nothing fancy. Varying footages of the below

Berg,
Same concept as the snubber version you use except the entire line is bungee and have ability to use integrated loops along the entire length so you can shorten them up and only use say 2 or 3 ft. if need be

Ahhhhh. Mom will be happy to hear that.

Stretch and slide is all I use to tie up my boat! You can get them very tight. Can't believe you missed them at the Jam Berg. Maybe the Storm trooper stole the show of all the sick stuff I had going on!
I just use regular 4' dock lines on the buoys.

Hard to see all those little details through beer goggles
