I just saw this article regarding the BRYANT 223X SURF EDITION.
Interesting:

Even optioned with ballast, racks, WS speakers, LED rings, ect...
They should call it the "inboard package" ;)

The ..."very improbable..." part of the article does not install a lot of confidence.

sure you noticed the calf-high wake as well :)

read that review a while back and do believe that you would have to be a real idiot to fall into the prop but at 75kotd, there are soooo many inboards that offer true surf/wake performance.

LOL quite frankly I barely noticed the wake!
and my thoughts exactly on the price. To compete at all I think they would need to come in around the $50K mark and still think it's an uphill battle.

You could set up a table for 4 on that platform and have dinner when you're done riding...

I was just thinking do they add that rear platform to the boats length? I mean holy cow, can you imagine the work to put that thing away. Or the amount of trailer to protect it going down the road.

Boat is 23 ft with a 6 foot platform LOL.

having been aboard bryants at the boat show locally, they are very nice boats. fit/finish would rival mc. that's the 75k pricetag.

Just another FAKE WAKE boat it will still suffer with tracking and speed issues akin to all IOs . At 78k you could buy a real wakeboat with a proven track history.

I wonder why we haven't seen jet boats getting into the surf market. Should be pretty safe and have plenty of power and room for ballast. Maybe I'll build one out of aluminum and sell it for rivers in the NW.

Nah, they are too busy spinning in circles.....I hate those things as much as jet skis!

Because their surf wave is less to be desired. Lots of vids out there of people surfing behind their AR240 but let's face it, just because you Can doesn't mean you should! You can fish off your Moomba too. Doesn't mean SC should get into the fishing boat market :)

Everyone knows the tower is really for mounting rod holders....
