I took my swivel racks off this past week to check all the bolts, and I found some loose hardware. Each aluminum arm has two steel locating dowels. All four dowels were found to be loose. I was getting a squeak towards the end of summer, and I believe this may be one of the points were it was coming from. There was no indication that any thread locker was used. I removed the dowels and added blue Loctite. I then made sure they were good and tight with a pair of pliers. I would add this to your over the winter "to do list".
