I am buying a boat in Oklahoma City and I need to find a dealer or marina that can lift a boat and trailer onto a flatbed for shipping, anyone have any contacts in the area

If you have the flatbed then I recommend finding a loading dock where you can drive it on. The same applies when you get the boat to the final destination.

I'm not sure if finding a loading dock that someone will let me use will be possible but definitely an idea

Uship......

We could and may still do that but just didn't want to put 1200 miles on the trailer in one run, I would rather, if it's going to have a problem it be 5 miles from home vs 1000 miles from home

Uship......
Did that but still doesn't solve the lift issue

Do you own the flat bed or renting one. can you get one that tilts like a tow truck bed and has a winch?

Still not sure why you need a flat bed?

Not sure I would want a trailered boat up on a flat bed. 1000 miles on a trailer is nothing plus its mostly highway.

Will they be lowing with the tower lowered? I would confirm.

We would be using a shipping company, and I guess it's not a flatbed but more like a low boy flat trailer

Trailer plus boat plus flatbed seems awful tall to me, if it's a lowboy , then that's different. . Not sure why 1000 miles on the trailer means so much, my buddy had a supra trailered from the Oregon to ny to miss...

I had my boat shipped from Indiana to Vancouver WA. I used uship. the person that transported my boat did so by towing it behind an F250 diesel with the tower up and the towable cover on. Worked out just fine.

What is the issue with trailering it? I pulled my boat from north of Denver to south of Houston on a single axle trailer with no issues.
For the shipping costs I'd rather pull it myself I'm thinking!

Seems to me someone on here had issues with shipping a boat and the charges etc. The shipper didn't have money for fuel or something? Check into the forum a bit deeper.

Once you factor in fuel cost, room, maybe a flight, not to mention hours of driving you'll probably pay more then what you can get on uship. Driving long hours(8+) hours to save a few bucks isn't worth it for me. I've got better things to do.. Lol..

That's what we were thinking at first with a flight costing $1K for two people but even if we shipped it we still had to get from NC to OK so we are just driving there next Sunday staying in a hotel that night checking out the boat Monday and if all is good towing back to NC Monday afternoon.... Off subject question, what's the best energy drink out there?? LOL

+1 on the 5 hr. And I don't drink the bottle all at once, but rather sip on it. Seems to last longer.
