The new Indmar Raptor engines come standard with closed cooling. Does this mean you don't have to winterize them since you can't drain the block?
Yes and no. There's more to winterizing a boat for its winter lay up, then just draining water from the block. For an engine with semi-closed cooling, the block has antifreeze like an automotive engine, but you still have raw water in the v-drive, trans, heat exchanger and exhaust manifolds, that need to be drained.
