2014 Wakesurfing World Championship

Very proud of the hard work the girls put into surfing this season and having them see how hard work pays off. Both girls have been invited to participate in the World Championship next weekend in Las Vegas.

Last year the organizers chose to have a formal awards ceremony vs everyone standing around in their swim suits. At the ceremony, they will present awards for Rider of the Year, Breakout Rider of the Year, etc.

The link below will take you to the ballot. If you feel inclined, Jordan could use your vote for Female Breakout Rider of the Year. Her resume for this season includes 1st Place finishes at Lake Anna, Texas Showdown, Nationals and 2 local events. She also won 2 of the My Wake video contests (thanks for your support with those!).

Deadline to vote is Sunday the 21st at 8:00 pm PST.

I posted this up in the September picture thread, but for those that missed it, my 12 yr old daughter captured 1st Place at the 2014 World Wakesurf Championship in the Outlaw Surf division. The Outlaw division is one step below the Pro division and this win will propel her to that level for 2015.

Hope to have more action shots coming and that the video from her finals run will be available soon.

The art work on those soulcraft boards looks very, very familiar. Looks pretty much the same as the octopus on the board Mike Walker made for the Moomba/Supra Jamborees.

Have any idea if it is the same airbrush artist that Walker uses?
