Okay, let's hear those cold temps! As we al start to ponder when to winterize and call it a season.

We hit 29 last night. Once the sun comes up will get some water on the boat and warm her up...

The transition to cold temps hit fast this year!
Latest I heard they are predicting an even worse winter than last year in WI..last year was the worst I have ever seen.

The water on our lakes stayed fairly cold all summer- by all summer I mean barley 10 weeks and it's over :-(

Was supposed to hit 33 here, not sure if it did or not. And I haven't been on the boat for almost a month. GRRRR!Harvest and fieldwork seem to get in the way on the nice days lately. Leaving me with cool, cloudy days to hit the lake. Oh well.

well we have already heard from the far north that it is getting cold there. I ran in a bit of snow this morning, temp showed 32 in the truck driving to work. going to lake powell next week, keep the boat in the garage and we always go to the lake for a thanksgiving ride. no plans to winterize very soon for me.

Supposed to be 59 for the high here in Missouri today was in the mid 40's overnight. Mid 70's on Sunday. Was hoping for a little warmer temps thru Sept.

I like the way you think! If you need a third, let me know. We too normally get a ride in November but I'm not sure if it will happen this year. The water temperatures are cooling faster than normal.

We have 90-100 degree weather and sunny everyday from July through the first part of September so a change is nice and with that is winterization today. I need to swap out the boat for the dirt bike trailer and get ready for riding which lasts until next July. Low of 46 and a high of 80.

In the PNW we have 85 today, 88 Saturday, 91 Sunday and low 80s all next week. I don't expect to winterize until Oct.

Central Florida.....in 2 weeks our daily high temps should be down to about 89 degrees

I'm looking forward to that!

Highs of low to mid 60s maybe up to a little over 70 here from the looks of things in the next two to three weeks. So we might get out once or twice more....maybe. It will have to be on the weekends during the afternoon, it gets dark now too soon so doing the weekdays its too short of time after work. My first summer with a boat and it really did not get going till July. It was a disappointing start for us. However I lace up next week for the start of Hockey, and maybe back on the mountain bike.

We hit 23 deg (-5C) a couple nights ago, so out of just plain good old fear and common sense put the boat in the garage, haven't had time to winterize yet. But we did have a great summer (for this area). Minimal rain, minimal wind and higher than normal temps throughout July and August, heck we even hit 93F one day back in July, not used to that kind of stuff around here. Not so good for the farmers but great for boating.

West Central Wi was 35F last night. May hit 60 today - but there is a good chance we are done skiing. Heated seats , heater, and hot water shower on platform are not enough to encourage our crew to ski when it is below 50.

Skiing in wetsuits/drysuits is just not the same as we found out last weekend.

good 'ole Murrieta. I once lived there and worked in Temecula.

Not too many big lakes with free ramps as I recall.

Seems like the only place to go was Elsinor

Have to admit, I like living in Florida much better.

LOT less crowded.

We use Vail Lake in Temecula. It is a private/members only lake so not crowded at all. Downside is that it is expensive and due to politics/local water company it may close for watersports after next year. Hopefully not!

Temperatures still in the 90s, no wind and the boat is winterized. More boats on the water than in the summer and that was at 8:30 this morning with the boat launches full. Something to do with salmon.

Today in the U.P. of Michigan: 81 air temp, 68 water temp. Shorts and a vest. The weird thing is here, we basically have no wetsuit season. It turns REALLY fast.

60 degrees in the PNW today. Uh, this is still December isn't it??

Was thinking about getting the kids snowboarding packages at Mt Hood for Christmas this year but now I'm starting to think twice...

60 in Colorado too. I rode my bike past the lake. The air was so calm that the reflection was perfect and looked like one of those pictures where you can't tell which way is up... I starting thinking about cutting the shrink wrap off.
