Funky ignition

Seemed to have developed a weird issue with the ignition on our 2010 lsv. When trying to start the engine sometimes there is a delayed reaction when you turn it to the start position, sometimes 1 to 2 seconds, and sometimes it doesn't even engage at all and you have to turn the ignition to off then on again. Battery is fully charged and when it does start the engine turnover is fast so I assume it's either the actual ignition in the dash or is there a module in the engine bay that could be faulty?

It appears your starter solenoid is failing. When it does it leave the key alone and cross the large studs on the solenoid and see if it engages.
