Lip Snap Wakesurf Boards

So, had a nice evening on the lake with my wife and son tonight. As we were packing up we were approached by a guy with a really nice Super Air Natique that we'd seen out on the lake. It turns out this guy owns Lip Snap. I couldn't believe it, right in my backyard... in Iowa. He was a super nice guy, he showed me the board he was riding tonight and we exchanged phone numbers and he offered to demo his boards anytime.

I did some looking on their Facebook page and I see 3 of his boards were at the Southern Surfest and they received very positive reviews. I didn't know where to go for my first real board but I think a Lip Snap is in my future if the demo(s) go well!

If anybody has ridden any of these boards please fill me in.

This is really cool for me... not a ton of wakeboats in my area and certainly not a whole lot of surfers... and I never dreamed I'd meet a board designer/manufacturer on my local 134 acre lake.

Shoot... I forgot about this thread. I demo'd a couple of his boards last summer behind his Natique and they were pretty sweet.

The Sonic board has 4 fins so it's super stable but it's also super fast... Way better than my broadcast which sadly is my only comparison.

I think the Carve was the other one I rode. It was not quite as responsive for me, I was used to a looser board as I ride the broadcast in the two fin config.

His boards are solid. I'm sure he'd be happy to let you demo if you came up here. He sent a couple down to the southern surf fest last year as well.

It's pretty cool, I've gotten to know him and it turns out we share the same employer and live in the same subdivision. Crazy.
