So we didn't get to go out this weekend, but managed to sneak enough time to finish my LED's!2077920780207812078220783

That's 10 Oznium chips, and two of their 4" strips. The strips are above the cupholders, two chips in storage under radio, one under helm, one under driver' seat, and two facing rearward into each rear locker and engine compartment.

Thanks Jester, I cant take credit for it though... it was one of 3 that the dealer had in stock and the wife and daughter liked this one best. I was so happy to get a new boat I didnt care if it was pink with yellow polka dots! !

since getting the boat back out a month ago we have managed to put on 57 hrs. So we had a great labor Day weekend with the boy getting better on the board and the wife joining in on the fun.

Traded the Wife's Tahoe of for a new truck. I was wanting to get a Duramax but to just pull the boat here and there and her to use it as a car I felt it would be waste of money.

he will turn 1 year the 8th of the month.
It is weird with him he will go from smiling real big to crying back to smiling all in about 30 seconds when he is surfing.
but he loves the water and seems to like surfing for the most part.

I'm really glad that we skipped the bad traffic sections. it might have been a longer distance, but we were moving at freeway speeds the whole time. Google Maps with traffic FTW!

Wifey wanted to do a waterfront tour. There was some dragon boat racing going on that was pretty cool to watch. Man those guys can cruise!

Plus it's been a while since we've all gotten sick together and I haven't been pissed off by a bunch of a-holes out on the water in a long time...

Further downstream in the shipping channel the water was pretty nice except for some sticks and logs. Boards never touched the water though :(

Well, at least I got a good solid surf in when I was out showing my boat. I spent the rest of Saturday in 90+ degree heat cleaning out the boat! And I really didn't even have THAT much stuff in the boat. I did use that little wagon though!

working a deal on a 2008 XLV. You didn't miss much, the XLV found me on Wednesday, I listed my boat on CL on Thursday, got an inquiry on Friday night, took the buyers out on the river on Saturday for an epic surf session, negotiated a price on the river, took it home, cleaned it up that evening, and they took delivery on Saturday night.

Whirlwind for sure.

Today I started the details for financing the XLV and we'll get the deal worked out during this week. Then we'll finish arrangements to get it into my hot little hands!

Find out when the Supra Freaks are coming your way,went out with Matthew on Monday on his swing thru Indy no pics but it did happen he took a couple pics should be on instagram somewhere,that boat is sick, surf wave is massive with just stock ballast and those big boats dont handle well,but the SE does i didnt believe you could power turn a 24 ft 5300 lbs boat but you can, he just about threw all of out of it and it didnt miss a beat absolutely ridiculous and this is coming from a guy who thinks the Nautique G series are the best boats out there,I have changed my mind the SE is the real deal.

Check with your local dealer to see when they are coming thru,they are on a big loop thru Michigan right now they stop at most of the SC dealers 3 or 4 a day we had 2 hours on the boat then they loaded up and hit the next one, I know the will be heading out west just dont know when.

Okanagan Lake in Kelowna is already down to 67 as of Sunday. Frost warning tonight wont help things either ...

you need to get those bumpers up higher so the boat isn't hitting the dock...

that's not our main dock, they are right for the one it sits against 99% of the time... that dock has fire hose to protect the boat.

We've had a few warnings for that, and a friend too. Same deal - idling along, once in a wake zone, once out in the middle all by ourselves.

I caught the sheriff watching us through his binocs at the PNW Jam in August. We had been trying to kill the kids on the tube, then stopped and were just floating. He was maybe a hundred yards away, guy up in front, arms out and elbows up watching us like a hawk for a few minutes since the kids were just climbing in and sitting up there for a minute.

Had a nice time at Lake Mead this weekend. I was representing MOOMBA at the Tige owners reunion (a buddy with a Tige invited us). Not a bad way to spend the last day of summer. Water was WAY low - dropped in at the launch to not even waste deep water and pushed the boat out a good 50ft before getting under way. Tis the season.

This out in what used to look like the middle of the river. Huge sandbar, 1-3ft deep for quite a ways. Pretty cool to play around out there. We attracted 2 other boats that did the same. Lazy day - boards never even touched the water...

Yep, but tide was out when we got there and the current was absolutely ripping. Came in quite a bit during the day. To the point where we almost lost our sand chairs! When we pulled back up to the beach the water was clear to the upper line.

Well not sure if anyone has noticed but I have been absent for the last week. The wife and I decided to get out on the water and a slightly larger boat. Took a trip from Galveston, TX down to Cozumel, then to Grand Cayman, then to Jamaica, and the back to Galveston. Had a blast and got to see some insanely clear water close to shore. In Grand Cayman we opted to swim with dolphins which was a pretty awesome experience but they did not allow you to take your own camera so we had to buy their photo package for $110!!

At long last, the deal is done. As a few of you know, and more of you figured out, I bought Irish Racing's 2008 Moomba Mobius XLV. He and I had talked over the summer about surf systems, boards, and stuff like that. I'd told him how I just loved his boat--the layout, the COLORS, everything. When he offered to sell it to me, I felt pretty good about it. When I sold my Supra Sunsport in 48 hours, I knew it was meant to be.

Getting it here was literally like an episode of "Shipping Wars" and I had much anxiety getting the boat across the country. But it finally made it tonight at 8pm and it's going to be great!

He hired a transport company to pick it up and drive it 2250 miles from my house to his. I thought I was going to have to go get it in Illinois after the transport people had some issues.

^^^^^ basically this. It was a nerve racking experience. I used uship.com and certainly learned a lot. In hindsight, accepting the low bid on a shipping quote isn't always the best move. :-/

Worse. his credit card got frozen 1 gas stop after pickup and he had to spend the night stranded there while he and I figured out a solution that did NOT involve me releasing the payment code to him! No way in hell I was gonna release all my money without the boat. It was stressful to say the least.

he claimed that all the access to his money was frozen. Ultimately we worked it out where I advanced him about 45% of the bid upfront and paid the remainder on delivery. But I dropped $100 off the price of the transport to compensate for a little of my heartache on the deal.

Thanks, everyone. She worked very hard this year to accomplish this goal and we are very proud of her.

Interesting question as there has recently been some info published regarding scholarship opportunities. However, the "rules" state that as the Outlaw division World Champion, she must now move into the Pro division. Monetary prizes are often awarded for placement in the Pro division and I'm not sure if/how that might impact her ability to accept a scholarship.

Moved my ballast pumps. 4th pump is an auxiliary hose to fill bags anywhere in the boat. In the process I gained the back 8-10

Man we used to live in Grande Prairie. Liked it but skiing down here year round has changed EVERYTHING!!!! :)

Where do you do most of your playing at? Mussereau?

Yeah unfortunately in this neck of the woods there are absolutley no decent lakes. We have a lakefront cabin/cottage at Sturgeon Lake (one hour East), it's been in the family since the 60's so I basically grew up there as a kid waterskiing every weekend. It's definitely not the cleanest lake in the world but it does the job and the kids don't seem to mind the green slime too much, ha ha.

Nice! I'm betting by now you're boat is winterized and set in it's storage spot until next May! I was fortunate enough to have been transferred from the area so we didn't spend a whole ton of time on the waters there.
Twin Lakes towards Dawson wasn't too bad either when not busy with 395 other boats.
