Whining sound from engine

I have 2014 mojo with Indmar 330 engine. Around 2500rpm and 3000 rpm started getting a whining sound from engine. Anyone know what it may be? Hard to pin point location of noise.

My 2013 LSV had that and it turned out to be the fiberglass cover over the transmission. It was rubbing on the trans, so the dealer had to file some off the cover. Still get a little whine if several people sit on the rear seat which then pushes on the cover.

Thx Dave. The shop looked at it today and said its thee throttle valve and not really anything they can do. He said its the air being sucked in? I will check the cover though.

Maybe you have a supercharger????? Might be worth a look.
