Hey guys I am haveing some problems with electrical in the boat such as the gauges will stay on when keys are off like it shows rpms when engine is off and my stereo cuts out at higher volumes I grounded straight from the deck to the battery and no more issues I checked on the back of my dash and no luck is there access to where all the grounds connect to the main wire that goes to the battery terminal thanks

Sounds like a key switch failing


my stereo cuts out at higher volumes I grounded straight from the deck to the battery and no more issues

Find the point where the head-unit grounds. Could be a loose or corroded connection.

Yes, there likely is a common ground BUS of some sort, under the helm. I just cant tell you specifically on a 2002 OB
