I don't know how many of you out there have used one of the fluid extractor kits, but I used it for the first time yesterday to change the oil. Wow, No mess and very easy to pull the old out with.

Just a couple of pumps and it pulls out all the oil within seconds, (of course engine was warm.)

Bought it from barts.

I had one of those from my old I/O's and gave it a try. Unfortunately on my DD, due to the engine tilt and the location of the dipstick tube, it couldn't get all the old oil out. I find running the rubber drain hose out of the hull drain hole to be very easy but the drain is right under the engine on mine.

I use mine to drain the tranny fluid. Works great.

Talking about tranny fluid. I used the hand pump to remove the fluid out of the tranny and got a quart out of my 99 Mobius. It has great suction and I used the small dipstick hose to get around the components. Is that the amount of fluid everyone else gets out?
