I got rid of my attwood sahara. threw it in the trash. At the end of last season it would either stick on, or stick OFF. both are quite concerning.

I went with a pump that was separate from my switch. I got the Attwood digital bilge pump switch, and then got the Johnson lowboy bilge pump. it's a cartridge pump, so that's good. I kept the same 3/4" line, since I didn't want to mess with it too much more than swapping the pump and adding a switch that wasn't integrated.

Yep, mine doesn't always turn on, I added a second rule pump and new float switch..

Replacing mine and I wanted to go to the next higher GPH and try to stay with the same hose ID, and wiring.

But....I was thinking of an 1100 GPH pump with a 1 1/8" hose. Do they make thru hole fittings with the 1 1/8 OD that doesn't require enlarging the hole in the hull?

Ed, on my 08 the side thru hulls were a dual design that would take a 3/4" hose and a 1" hose. might want to pop that hose off and check, if not I think I have the black 1" side thru hulls in a box in the garage that your welcome to if I still have one

Id keep the Sahara and buy the rule pump and switch and add a bilge hose kit so you have 2 bilge pumps. You can wire the Sarah into the new switch..

$55 amazon prime...Installed this earlier in the year, but kept the old sahara as well..
