So I've had this bag of straps that came with the boat for the cover and as far as I can tell, there are no instructions on how to use them. As I'm sitting here in Arkansas for the weekend wishing I was on the lake, I'm watching rain water pool on the cover where it wraps around the tower. Does anybody know how to use these things? I think it is 5 straps with 2 plates that sit in top of the poles.

I took them and made something up support system, not sure if it was right, but it worked. Took the 2 short ones to plastic piece and the 2 longer ones to the other plastic piece. Then long unique strap between the 2 plastic piece. Closed the walk thru glass, used the short ends on the front wrapping the buckle end around the handle rail , the other went to the rear cleats. Placed the plastic pieces on the poles. It took some time to get all the straps adjusted just right. In short making a strap system to help support the cover. HTMS

I'll post up some pics tomorrow. My dealer didn't show me and there is nothing in the OM... I sent a note to SC and they took some pics for me of one in the factory.

Thanks for the pics.....I stated the Thread: Cockpit and tonneau cover leaking... asking for the same pics!!

Tell me, is the rear post sitting on the cooler or the bench?

I have it standing on the fiberglass under the seat... I just slide it in the crack between the seat and the seat back. I think you can put it on the floor in front of the seat as well but this way works the best for me.

I could probably remove the center seat and put pole on the top of the nonskid under it.

^^^ same with me.....rear pole is on the floor because my OBV just has one long bench cushion in the back.
