Got new servo motor and new power cable in today. Gary at PetfectPass says this will hopefully correct my issues. Mine won't hold the set mph anymore. A little upset they didn't send a new set knob for the servo.

Did you try cleaning the motor? There's 4 screw's holding the motor together. Remove them and you can pull the motor apart. Clean the rust off and use some dielectric grease and reassemble..

What was the actual symptom? Mine doesn't hold perfect with ballast but I always assumed that was normal. Allot of lag

Not normal. I have 3000 and it holds fine.

I installed the new servo tonight. The black knob turned again on power ON. I had to remove the throttle cable off the old one and install on the new servo mount. I wasn't sure where the 2 nuts on the throttle cable that holds it on the side should be set? How tight should the cable be?

I guess I'll have to put boat in water to test.
