Hi Ed,
I didn't know how to contact you to get you the pictures you needed for the magazine. You can email me at [email protected] or [email protected] to give me the details.

ALSO, anyone that is interested, I have tons of photos from the jamboree. If you would like a CD of all the photos, it is only $20. Just let me know.

It was GREAT meeting all of you there and I hope to see you all again at other events.
Joy

Okee Dokee... I'm downloading them on my desktop now... just had them on my laptop. I'll send a few, but if I send them all, no one will want any :) And gee, guys, I need to pay for my hotel ;)

I took pics of all the boats, some shots on the water, lots of candids on the "beach" and lots of shots with the prizes.

I'm going thru the pics right now. There are about 300 of them, but I will go thru them and take out the embarrassing candids that don't make the women look like goddesses and the men look like body building hunks ;) Seriously, I am editing out any that anyone might not look flattering in, but I expect (with this good looking bunch) to have a couple of hundred pics left.

In looking back over the pics, I think one thing that is evident is how much fun everyone had, what a great group of people this is, and HOW MANY NICE PRIZES were given away!!!! WOW!!!!! A big hand really goes to the sponsors and everyone that helped to put this event on. It was great meeting Bob and his "crew", along with the professional boarders. The generosity was evident.

(and all you guys that didn't make it... don't listen to whomever that was that told you to stay home next year... it was GREAT and I think almost everyone got a nice prize from the drawing, in addition to the goodie bags that were given out.)
Joy :)

Joy,

The AKA Nationals and FL Tourny is down yalls way in the fall.
PM me your biz information and I'll forward it the board.
Some of us younger riders are pushing for better media coverage, and that starts with quality photos and quality video.

Hey Ed,

In response to your question that is a possibility, I think that its usually better to watermark the photos and make them low rez. does 2 things if you print them out they tend to be a little blurry and if someone trys to use them say on a website or something like that, it advertises the name of the photgrapher right across the pic.

We want to promote the pics but not take away the advantage of purchasing the photos from the photographer!

Actually those were all shot by my gf and I. The towers was one of mine - that's how I see things. This is what it became after some tightening up:

I can post anyones pictures if they send them to me.

If there are a lot, I have "album" capability too.
