With our old 2006 Duramax with over 194K miles on it having left me on I-75 once last summer and this summer, then not starting last Friday she was traded.
It was the longest that we have ever kept a work or personal vehicle. One month shy of 9 years.
Not the best picture do to the rain, I'll get a better on Friday when I tow the Mondo to Norris.

I hope to have a relaxing tow since the kids are staying home no need for the Suburban.

Nice Rig. I love my diesel but hate my monthly payment on it.

I know this is one of the few that has a payment book on it. Wanted to wait till the other had 200K miles on it, but could not be trusted.

I always think of diesels as longer-lasting than the gasoline counterparts. Is that generally true? I have two GMs with 210k miles that are still running great.

I bought another even though I did not break 200k, I have known since about 70k miles in 2007 that an electronic issue would show up sometime. I was driving when it was struck by lighting, the put about $18k in parts and labor in it at that time.

I've crossed 200k on our dmax.
I think the diesel longevity holds true but the gas counterparts have come a long ways from 10-15 years ago.
Great looking truck!

I have a 99 GMC 6.0l that has north of 320k on it.
Not what it once was but still runs great.

Wow, I thought diesels were supposed to get better mileage than that. I get 11.5 pulling a Z3 with an Expedition EL.

I averaged 12.9 on my 1,500 mile journey. Truck was loaded down as well as boat. Total weight was almost 14,000 lbs.

Combined weight of my Expy and Z3 is 13,800# (certified scale weight loaded for a typical day at the lake).

Pulling 75 - 80 mph up the hill in TN crush the mileage. Same trip the 13 Suburban is lucky to see 10 mpg and 65-70 on the same hills. I hope the trip in September is close to 14 mpg.
