can't drain my back ballast

I have a 04 Mobius LS with a ballast tank under the back bench seat. It filled OK but now it won't empty. When I flip the switch I hear a hum but it doesn't sound strong like a pump would. I flipped the switch about a hundred times thinking something was wearing out but it won't drain. I guess I could run around all season with it full but by winter I will have a issue. Any moomba owners have a similar problem. Thanks in advance to the forum. You guys are great and a big help.

Have you tried tapping the drain pump a few times?May be stuck.

Your pump is either jamed or toast,relatively cheap and easy to replace .

Same thing happened to me. the pump would hum but no water... had to syphon it out and replace the pump it just wasn't pulling anymore, the impeller was worn over time. $25 at wall mart if you can believe that they had a perfect fit typhoon!

It's fixed. When I pulled the back tank I inadvertently hooked the hoses up wrong. Duh!!!
