This is a ldpe prefab subwoofer box I mounted under my helm. Its a 10" vented box with 1.75sqft. SOUNDS
GREAT! I had a sealed box under my observers seat and you couldn't hear it it was in a mdf box. No moisture worries and I gained my storage back. I just wanted to share an option for you guy I found I like. I made simple brackets out of flat aluminum stock and mounted it to the carpeted star board rear wall under the helm.20478
Here a picture of my flush mount WS420 on my dash of our 2014 LSV under the right hand switch panel.

Did you move the carpeted wall back to make room for the sub? My wall was flush with the angle of the footrest.

Where did you get it from? Is there a model number?

I moved the right side black starboard mount back a 1/2" and rescrewed it down and u ripped a piece of 1/2 starboard I removed from the top front of the rear lockers where the ballast bags are and attached it to the rear helm wall on the port side. Then I placed 1"rubber stopper plugs to the bottom of the sub box to raise it off the helm hump and create some space with the steering rack and it was done. I'll get some more pics and post to show the minor mods

I was able to find both the box and the box with subwoofers in it on EBAY. Here is a link to just the box.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Marine-Stereo-Boat-Custom-Fit-10-Subwoofer-Enclosure-Box-Waves-Wheels-MS-R-/231286270006?pt=US_Marine_Audio&hash=item35d9bc6836&vxp=mtr

Looks like they only come in a 10" size.

Here are the specs:

◦Made From Durable Llpde Plastic
◦Uv Resistant Finish
◦Black Color
◦Sold As Single 10" Enclosure
◦Outside Diameter 11"H X 18"W X 10 1/2"D

I think it is made by Waves and Wheels.

They are cheapest on www.hifisoundconnection.com You can make offers on both ebay and their website but they are cheaper on the their site because of ebay's fees. They also have sub combos I got the kicker comp vx3 800 watts rms. Love it and we can hear the sub now since its not in the observers cubby. I looked high and low for a waterproof option and this is truely the best option. They are made by waves and wheels and only available in 10 inch. Trust me a 10" since its a ported is all the bass you will need it can make the boat shake.
