Hi, new to the forum. I have a 99 outback LS with a 310 Indmar. Boat only goes about 43/44 mph. no skier. 40 w/ skier. would switching out the engine with something newer accommodate more speed or is the hull designed to achieve a max speed? Thanks.

you can change the prop, but why would you like it to go faster skiing. unless you have a heavy barefooter, the prop would be you best bet, call nettles props and they will set you up.

Sure, I would recommend one of these ;-)

need the speed for barefooting. would be great if I can get to 44/45 w/ barefooter.

42 is nice for one foot toe holds

Tried it once behind, ok 'beside' a BlueWater I/O at 43 hanging off a boom. Dude told us you had to run that fast?

Serious pucker factor...
