How are yall putting oil into the vdrive? Through the walter dip stick hole?

I can say also that I'm pretty sure the specs in the manual are wrong when it comes to the quantity. I think the book calls for 0.5 qts, when mine actually took a full quart. Just be sure you check it.

Unscrew the vent cap and use that hole. Much larger than the dip stick hole. Specs call for 1 qt of 30 WT but that is when completely empty so a little less than that on a normal oil change.

That's been my experience as well.

I think mine is starting to leak somewhere. It seems to be lower on the Walter dip stick after each trip. :( Any suggestions? I asked my mechanic he said possibly a loose/cracked hose.

Where is the vent cap? I've always used the dip stick hole to fill.

It on the front side at the top, it is an elbow. I just use the dip hole too.
