My 2014 moomba lsv has trouble planing out with stock ballast full. Usually about 4 ppl in lounge area of boat. Even with a couple ppl up front sometimes really slow to plane and that's with wake plate all te way down... Have a 537 13.5x16 prop should I be looking at upgrading???

I have a 14 lsv and it came with a 537 and I upgraded my ballast to 1100 in each locker and an ibs. I went with 1273 acme same as 1235 but morr cup to keep your top end. I run 39.8mph wide open with the 14.5x14.25p .150 cup acme 1273. Love it and wouldnt go back.

Is that the 537 factory upgrade? Mine was upgraded to 537

The acme options from the factory are 537 and 1235. Standard is oj 14.25x14.5p which is know to growl and I guess another oj that is 14.75x13p which is a bottom end prop for sure. The 537 is a crossover prop more all around for cruising and skiing with a little more topend

So you have the acme 1235? My dealers trying to sell me that one. I plan on running an ibs usually probably have about 2500-3000 lbs ballast in it.

The 1235 will pull that weight just fine you ll just sacrifice a little more top end than you would if you got the 1273. Imoo.

The 1235 works awesome in the Mojo with an IBS, 900's and a pretty full boat. I'm sure it will work just fine with the LSV too. The boys at Nettles or Wakemakers can provide solid advice as well.
